La instalación CHRONOPHYLL del colectivo The fake factory presentada en el Salón del Mobile de Milán, en el marco del festival Green Energy Design 2008, se trata de una videoproyección que tiene como propósito crear un dialogo entre la representación visual de una tecnología lumínica y los lugares en los que se encajan estas asombrosas escenas luminiscentes. Este dinámico discurso visual fue inspirado del alguna forma en un metodo de organización existente entre la arquitectura y el diseño gráfico conllevado a una atmosfera digital, logrando así una superficie plena en movimiento.

Description

Thousands of international designers contributed to this year’s show making it bigger than ever.  The number of visitors in milan exceeded the sum of all the other major design events worldwide. 

designboom perceived a lack of seriously minded sustainable products and missed a vivid social debate. Although, we did notice that exhibiting companies demonstrated their capacity to concentrate on well-defined and serious products, a reaction to world economic instability. However there  was still plenty of room for innovative and experimental installations by young designers.

Since 1999, designboom has presented information through an unfiltered lens,  unlike most sources who deliver a corporate point of view (by publishing press releases).  As an independent organization of practicing designers, we aim to communicate the reality  of this cultural field and encourage you to make up your own mind by browsing through our extensive coverage.
