Description
The Toronto skyline pulses from dusk to dawn as the lights of the landmark CN Tower syncopate with a radio broadcast of high-energy electronic and moody ambient music. The artist’s audio collaborations will involve electronic mixes by DJs Jokers of the Scene and music by the band if then do. Groove to the pulsing lights of North Americas tallest free standing structure, the CN Tower, synced to a simultaneous broadcast on CIUT 89.5 FM.
Project concept by Véronique Couillard, Jason St-Laurent and Ryan Stec.
Ryan Stec has produced mixes, performances and installations for Galerie SAW (Ottawa), Ottawa Art Gallery, the Inside Out Festival (Toronto), the New Forms Festival (Vancouver). His full-length documentary, Bastard, premiered with the Canadian Film Institute. Stec is the Artistic Director of Artengine.
