1024 architecture: “For the Paris Bercy Masters, the French Tennis Federation asked us to submit a project that would stage the entrance of the tennis players on the court.

TETRA Tennis was our answer. It is video-mapping set-up, projected directly on the tennis court. Once the lights dim out, the show consists of redrawing the lines of the court in interaction with the music. “

feelings are facts junio 28, 2010

Today sees the formal opening of UCCA’s new exhibition Feelings are facts by Danish-Iclandic artist Olafur Eliasson and Chinese architect Ma Yansong. This will be the first collaboration between the two artists, each of whom represents unique endeavors and cultural backgrounds. Together they invite the audiences to enjoy an astounding artistic experience crafted by their exceptional powers of imagination.

Moving by numbers junio 26, 2010

Moving by numbers es una instalación de caracter interactivo creada por el artista alemán Wolf Ka. Esta pieza involucrada a la danza como arte escénica, cuestiona las transformaciones provocadas por la relación espacial existente entre un espectador y un espectáculo coreográfico. Este cuestionamiento es resuelto a través de un dispositivo que se vale del movimiento corporal para crear una interfaz que provoca la construcción de un discurso visual sustentado en luz y que se vuelve la piel intangible que cubre y se hace del cuerpo que afecta al espacio escénico.
