Spectrum is Tokujin Yoshioka‘s Seoul installation at MUSEUM beyondmuseum. The project includes Rainbow Church, a large-scale “straw” installation that also encompasses a 9-metre high stained glass window made of 500 crystal prisms, as well as other work by Yoshioka, such as his Venus Chair and Waterfall.

EK 202 by James Clar is the flight code of Emirates Airlines direct flight New York to Dubai. It is the physical link between Western and Middle Eastern societies. In this visual manifestation a single 15m linear string of electroluminescent wiring weaves back and forth within a clear acrylic block to form the letters “EK 202”. The thick acrylic block represents the perceived differences in culture as the lines of light become reminiscent of flight patterns on a control screen as they go from one side to the next.

San Luis Potosí convertirá la fachada de su Universidad Autónoma en un lienzo pintado de luz como parte de su fiesta “Destellos de Libertad”.
La muestra estará vigente del 15 al 18 de septiembre con un horario de 20:30 a 23:00 hrs. para que los asistentes que se den cita en la Plaza de los Fundadores puedan apreciar la iluminación del edificio acompañada de un concierto de música clásica y regional.
Este evento se suma al programa de iluminación de edificios públicos y religiosos que el estado ha llevado a cabo en diferentes temporadas desde 2009.

Troika was commissioned by Artwise Curators to create ‘All the Time in the World’; a 22m long electroluminescent wall that marks the entrance to the First and Concorde Galleries lounges in the new Heathrow Terminal 5.
Created using a state of the art electroluminescent display system designed by Troika, ‘All the Time in the World’ extends the conventional notion of a world clock, which commonly concentrates on capital cities in different time zones, by linking real time to places with exciting and romantic associations like far-away places, exotic wonders and forgotten cultures.

El proyecto concebido por el reconocido arquitecto investigador inglés USMAN HAQUE, es la actividad de cierre de la exposición CULTURAS DEL CAMBIO. ÁTOMOS SOCIALES y VIDAS ELECTRÓNICAS.
CONTROL.BURBLE.REMOTE es una acción de participación colectiva para a la creación de una escultura de globos programables por control remoto: invita al público a participar en un espectáculo urbano: una nube de colores flotante que cobra vida a través de la manipulación directa y la colaboración de la gente.
