El artista danés Olafur Eliasson, presentó el proyecto ‘your rainbow panorama’. Esta obra se trata de una singular construcción cilíndrica para la azotea del museo ARoS århus kunstmuseum que se espera sea terminada en el otoño de 2010.
‘your rainbow panorama’ es la obra que coronará el edificio ARoS, diseñado por los arquitectos Schmidt Hammer Lassen. Inscrito al concepto de la’Divina Comedia’ de Dante, ‘your rainbow panorama’ conjuga al proyecto proyecto arquitectónico para crear una conexión entre el cielo y el inframundo. En este espacio, los visitantes tendrán acceso a la pasarela circular ubicada en la azotea del edificio la cual tiene dimensiones de 52 metros de diámetro y forrada por un espectro de color translúcido. Desde este lugar los visitantes podrán moverse alrededor de un camino de 150 metros de longitud, el cual crea una increíble vista panorámica de la ciudad de 360 º.

Danish artist olafur eliasson‘s ‘your rainbow panorama’ is set for construction on the roof of the ARoS århus kunstmuseum. it is expected that the first guests will be able to enter the colossal and colorful artwork in the fall of 2010.
The ARoS building, designed by schmidt hammer lassen architects, is built on the concept of dante’s ‘divine comedy’, and the realization of eliasson’s rooftop project will create a connection between heaven and the underworld. visitors will gain access to the museum’s rooftop circular, large glass walkway, measuring 52 metres in diameter, formed in the color spectrum, via stairs and elevators. from here, visitors can move around in a 150 meter long, circular panoramic path with 360º views of the surrounding city. ‘your rainbow panorama’ also ensures full accessibility for those with impaired walking.
