Declaración Artística
Creo arte en el espacio, al que entiendo como un contenedor intangible capaz de acoger un cúmulo de expresiones y sensaciones formuladas temporalmente por un cuerpo organizado y revelado ante la dimensionalidad. Por ello mi trabajo es una perspectiva interdisciplinaria sustentada en ideas que estimulan acciones para la construcción de una sensibilidad enlazada a trayectorias, cuestiones y sorpresas condicionadas al tiempo, a la materia y a las relaciones entre la individualidad y la colectividad.
La constante en mi obra expone un carácter cinético que busca lograr múltiples significaciones resultadas de la activa intervención del espectador. Experiencias que no se aprecian solamente como una referencia lúdica, sino como la consecuencia y responsabilidad confabulada a la participación.
Es así como provoco junto a la diversidad y uso de recursos materiales e inmateriales, el desarrollo de procesos conceptuales y constructivos similares a los efectos de un laboratorios experimental fuera de control, el cual se reconfigura constantemente para volverse cómplice de piezas híbridas que priorizan formas diferentes hacia contextos cotidianos, explorando posibilidades criticas y reflexivas para un espacio transformable, energético y vivaz que es al mismo tiempo presencia física y, paradójicamente, una apariencia inmaterial.

‘‘Flutter’ se trata de una pieza de arte interactivo desarrollada por Dominic Harris (Cinimod Sstudio) la cual explora encuentros diversos entre el espectador con un montón de mariposas virtuales. Colocadas en una serie de marcos y haciendo uso de tecnologías digitales, esta obra es un producto es resultado de la constante fascinación por el movimiento que crea el vuelo de una mariposa así como por los reflejos producidos y la dispersión de la luz reflejada en las alas de una mariposa sobre una superficie reflectiva.

YO MÉXICO se presenta como el espectáculo multimedia que bañará en luz, tres de los edificios emblemáticos (la Catedral Metropolitana, El Palacio Nacional y el Palacio de Gobierno del Distrito Federal) que rodean al Zócalo de la Ciudad de México, con imágenes alusivas a la Revolución Méxicana.
El discurso visual compuesto por proyecciones de imágenes en video que cubrirán 270 grados en 12 mil metros de pantalla, ofrecerá un recorrido a través de la historia de México y su riqueza cultural compuesta por la esencia y momentos que forjaron a esta nación.
El espectáculo se encuentra dividido en V actos:
Acto I // México-prehispánico
Acto II // La llegada a América
Acto III // México independiente
Acto IV // México revolucionario
Acto V // México moderno y contemporáneo

‘decode: digital design sensations‘ CAFA art museum, shanghai, china… now until 21 november 2010
Curated by the V&A in collaboration with the leading digital arts organization, onedotzero, ’decode: digital design sensations’ is an exhibition showcasing the best contemporary digital art and design from around the world. initially launched last december in london, the collection has started on an international tour with its first stop at the CAFA art museum in shanghai, china.
The exhibition is composed of three themes: ‘interactivity’ looks at designs that invite the viewers to contribute to the development of the works. one such project is ‘dandelion’ sennep and yoke, which allows users to digitally ‘blow away’ the seeds of a dandelion by use of a hair dryer. Another project by london-based artist mehmet akten is ‘body paint’. the visual instrument invites users to paint on a virtual canvas with their body, reading movements, gestures and dance to create compositions.
‘code as material’ features projects that utilize computer code to create constantly fluid and ever changing designs. digital artist daniel brown has on display a piece from his ‘on growth and form series’, a growing imaginary plant that produces new buds, blossoms and stalks from advanced mathematics and code. The ‘plant’ will continue to generate and grow over the course of the exhibition.
‘the network’, the last theme, explores the notion of collecting data generated by new types of social interacting and media to create works and forms. American digital artist aaron koblin visualizes real-time flight patterns into an abstracted portrait of a time and country.

The new TRON: Legacy trailer shows what will be Daft Punk’s cameo in the movie. Looks like Disney hooked them up some custom white gear. The trailer also doubles as a music video for Daft Punk’s “Derezzed,” which will be featured on the soundtrack. Check out the video after the break.
