At 11:59 p.m., the Ball begins its descent as millions of voices unite to count down the final seconds of the year, and celebrate the beginning of a new year full of hopes, challenges, changes and dreams.

Después de pasar una larga noche en una oscura bodega, escalofriante llena demaniquíes, y muchas horas de tiempo libre en frente de su ordenador, esto es lo que se consigue!

Esta obra es el resultado de la combinación de imágenes creativas y música electrónica. La idea fue utilizar las proyecciones de maniquíes para lograr una expresión diferente e interesante donde los gráficos pueden ser convertidos en algo similar a la ropa en el cuerpo.

After spending a long night in a dark, creepy warehouse full of mannequins, and many hours of spare time in front of your computer, this is what you get!

In this piece we’ve combined two of our interests, creative visuals and electro music, to create a music video for the up-and-coming Swedish artist Mille. The idea was to use projections on mannequins to achieve a different and interesting expression where graphics almost become clothes on the bodies.

To be able to do this we got some help from a couple of friends – David Einar behind the camera and Transfett who did the live sync of visuals onto mannequins, thanks guys! Awesome work.

Tron Legacy Premiere – A Light Session diciembre 20, 2010

Hace algunos días en la ciudad australiana de Melbourne el colectivo ennes creó con las acrobacias de patinadores la instalación interactiva A Light Session, obra desarrollada con motivo del próximo estreno de la película Tron Legacy.

El discurso visual de la pieza construido con una serie de proyecciones de luz, fue creada a través de dispositivos iPod´s con los que contaban cada uno de los patinadores y los cuales fueron activados como sensores que se encargaban de medir el tiempo que pasaba cada patinador tocaban la pista como también cuando no, con el fin de exponer simultaneamente una serie de gráficos relacionados a los momentos.

Old-time skaters ENESS jumped at the chance to bring skateboarding into the future by blending interactivity and high-tech mastery for the Tron Legacy premiere.

Each rider is equipped with an ipod and our custom-built app to measure their air time and trigger graphics whilst in the air and on landing.

Como un único evento en colaboración con la firma Louis Vuitton, el artista alemán Hans-Peter Feldmann presentó hace unos días su increíble instalación “Shadowplay” expuesta en una pantalla frente a la nueva Maison Louis Vuitton en un antiguo de Munich. Desde el 19 de noviembre pasado y hasta el próximo año, el proyecto de arte estará en exhibición para todo público a partir de cada atardecer.

Esta obra, resulta de colocar decenas de juguetes tradicionales (souvenirs, adornos, objetos domésticos) sobre distintas plataformas giratorias expuestas frente a simples cilindros que contienen bombillas incandescentes. El resultado obtenido por la proyección de luz y el lento giro en los conjuntos de las figurillas, es un sinfín de formas que en infinitas combinaciones dan la impresión de crear un mágico mundo lleno de sombras.

In a unique event organized in cooperation with Louis Vuitton, German artist Hans-Peter Feldmann presented his famous light installation “Shadowplay” on a screen in front of the new Louis Vuitton Maison in Munich’s former Residenzpost building. From November 19 and well into the next year, the art project will be on display for the public from dusk onwards.

In Hans-Peter Feldmann’s work Schattenspiel (Shadow Play, 2002), the artist places found toys, souvenirs, ornaments, household objects on slowly revolving platforms. Simple spot lamps project their shadow cyclically spinning around across the back wall. The figurines weave in and out of each other in perpetually shifting combinations, creating a magical world of shadows. Feldmann uses simple tricks to manipulate the found objects and give them a new life.

Falling Light, a new work commissioned by Swarovski will be exhibited at Swarovski Crystal Palace at this years Design Miami.

‘Falling Light’ is an installation, consisting of 50 ceiling suspended mechanical devices each incorporating a custom cut Swarovski crystal optical lens, a computer programmed motor and a white LED.

‘The armatures rise in syncopation by rotating cam before gravity releases them earthward, activating the LED to move away, closer to the crystal lens. The lens acts as a prism, transforming through diffraction, the LED’s white light into a rainbow myriad, in turn creating the rhythmical ebb and flow of the floor-strewn droplets.’ (Suzanne Trocmé) Sight and sound converge in the space, demanding that viewers play the role of participants.
