Description

The Nuit Blanche was put on by Let Us Make Cake. SOFTlab was actually just one of several creative teams tapped to digitally “paint” the New Museum.

SOFTlab explains that the concept was driven by an observation that museums are becoming “more bureaucratic and protocol-driven.” The resulting animation shows the facade of the SANAA building being bound with neon-hued tape. Nice to see New York catching onto the projecting-on-buildings trend that’s been wracking Europe for the last year or two.
